According to the reports released by the Paterson New Jersey police department, they re-arrested a Ringwood resident and charged her with among other things possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute this week. It appears that the Defendant, who is already facing strict liability manslaughter charges stemming from a heroin overdose wherein which she is alleged to have sold the lethal dosage, was discovered possessing more then 17 grams of marijuana, that was bagged up between nineteen different bags. It is unclear what lead to the seizure, but it appears that the Defendant was the passenger in a motor vehicle that was stopped by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department for an alleged motor vehicle violation. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up the marijuana that was broken up between 19 bags. As a result of their findings the Defendant was placed under arrest.

The Defendant and the driver have formally been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute in a school zone.
