Wayne, NJ Police Arrest & Charge Defendant with Heroin & Marijuana Distribution Charges
It is unclear at this point in time what tipped local Wayne police officer’s off but they were alerted of a potential drug sale that was supposed to take place at the Willowbrook Mall. Acting upon their tip, the officer’s began conducting surveillance at the mall. Seeing some suspicious activity, one of the officer’s entered the men’s bathroom located inside the Willowbrook Mall by the food court. Upon entering, the officer’s immediately observed the drug transaction. The dealer, a twenty-one year old male from Paterson, was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, distribution of heroin, possession of marijuana and distribution of marijuana. The buyer, a twenty (20) year old male from Hewitt, attempted to flee the bathroom when he saw the officer, he was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest. Both were processed and released on a summons.
